Harmony Event Productions is a boutique sound, lighting, and video production company based out of Los Angeles, California. The company was founded by Shawn Ellis in 2001 and was driven by his passion for music and Entertainment, Harmony Sound was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing clients with the best quality production guidance, assistance, and execution.
Shawn Ellis, President of Harmony Event Productions, founded the company with the intention to provide the best quality production with the most integrity and the highest level of professionalism at all times. With his background as a sales representative for AKG, BSS, JBL, DBX, Harmon, and a national sales manager for the speaker brand KV2 Audio, He has a unique ability to bridge the gap between the demands of the show, the client, and the bottom line. Daniel Villegas, Vice President of Operations of Harmony Event Productions, brings his clients’ unique vision for their events to life, catering to their specifications from design to execution. H e personalizes each client’s experience and uses only the best equipment to ensure clients’ confidence in the look and sound of their events. Prior to joining Harmony Sound, Daniel freelanced as a sound engineer and lighting designer. Some notable event and film production companies he worked with during this time include Radical Music, Sennova, Listen Entertainment, Red Bull Studios Los Angeles and Wondros. He has also worked with renowned artists like Ozomatli, La Santa Cecilia, La Vida Boheme, Aloe Blacc, Biz Markie, and the Gipsy Kings. Daniel also prides himself in supporting arts education, having designed sound and lights for theater productions and showcases at many schools throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. During his summers, he spends his time conducting workshops for young students who want to develop their production skills. A Los Angeles native, Daniel received a B.A. in Recording Arts at Loyola Marymount University, where he focused on music production and film sound. After his time at LMU, he received additional training in theatrical sound and light design
